Welcome

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to attend the 44th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine, which will be held in Adelaide, South Australia from the 25th – 28th April 2014.

The Meeting will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre located centrally in the city of Adelaide, overlooking the River Torrens and the new Adelaide Oval. The multi-award winning Adelaide Convention Centre enjoys a global reputation for excellence and is consistently rated among the world’s top convention centres. It is ideally located for both participants and sponsors.

The theme of the meeting is “A Fusion of Ideas, Modalities, and Disciplines”, with an exciting program emphasising the place of Nuclear Medicine in the multi-disciplinary practice of medicine. Renowned international speakers from Europe and USA, including Professor Wim Oyen, Associate Professor Clemens Decristoforo, Professor Chaitanya Divgi, Dr. Peter F. Faulhaber and Professor Jamshid Maddahi, have agreed to speak at the conference, in addition to local and interstate experts both in Nuclear Medicine and associated fields such as Oncology and Surgery.

The Pre-conference Symposium, focusing on the integral value of molecular imaging in modern medicine, will be held at The Farm, a brand new conference venue in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley, only one hour from the centre of Adelaide.

Join us for thought-provoking discussion, information-sharing, strategising and problem solving as well as some great social events and networking. We are looking forward to creating a stimulating program for you as well as an engaging space for you to network, reconnect with colleagues and meet new people.
