The Pre-Conference Symposium will be held Friday 25 April 2014 at The Farm, a new conference venue located in the beautiful Barossa Valley, South Australia.
IMPORTANT: Free bus transfers will be provided departing from the ACC at 8.30am. Late arrivals will be responsible for their own transport arrangements. There is no public transport and a one way taxi fare is about $140.
To take advantage of the free bus transfers, you must first register at Conference registration desk and collect your Symposium ticket. Registration will be located in Hall K of the ACC and will open from 7.30am until 8.30am Friday 25 April. You must show your ticket to board the bus.

The theme is “Lymphatics in Cancer: The Grapes of Wrath”. The morning session will focus on breast cancer, with talks from local experts in surgery (Dr James Kollias) and radiology (Dr Michelle Reintals) as well as an update on sentinel node scintigraphy and scintimammography from Professor Robert Howman-Giles and a talk on PET/CT and PET/MR in breast imaging by Professor Peter Faulhaber.
The afternoon session will cover lymphoma, with a clinician’s perspective on the use of PET from Dr Pratyash Giri, an update on current issues in PET imaging by Professor Wim Oyen, and an update on nuclear medicine therapeutic options from Dr Michael Hofman.
Managed by sisters Elli and Saskia Beer it represents the latest chapter in the Beer Family Business and is co-located with Maggie Beer's renowned Farm Shop.
Delegates will have an opportunity to pick their own collection of goodies from Maggie’s famous delectables; choose from pates, cheeses, olives and woodfired bread and enjoy selected wine tastings before travelling back to Adelaide.
Attendance at the Pre-Conference Symposium is an additional cost for all delegates. The fee includes bus transfers and catering.
