Abstract submission status: Closed.
The Organising Committee invites abstract submissions for presentations at the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) 45th Annual Scientific Meeting 2015. Submissions from all disciplines of Nuclear Medicine are invited for poster and oral presentations.
The Committee will integrate sets of individual oral papers into thematic sessions. Length of presentations will be determined once all submissions have been reviewed. Poster presentations must be displayed at specified times during the program, and the presenting author will need to be available during the Poster Walk at the advertised time. The posters will be on display throughout the meeting.

Deadline for abstract submission at 5:00pm ACST (Australian Central Standard Time). To meet publication timelines for the Internal Medicine Journal there will be no extensions.
From Monday 16 February 2015
Authors will be notified by email of the result of their abstract submission.

To be selected to present you are required to submit an abstract via the website. All abstracts must be submitted electronically.
Important Information
Abstracts will be blind reviewed. Please do not list authors and affiliations in your abstract. Add author names and affiliations as part of the online submission form.
Prepare your abstract according to the submission guidelines and click the Submit Abstract button below.
You will be requested to complete an online form and upload your abstract suitable for blind review as a MS Word .doc or .docx file.
EasyAbstracts will automatically append an ID number to your file name for identification.
Submitting an abstract involves two steps. Completion of the submission form and the upload of the abstract. Advice that your submission and file upload have been successful, will appear on your screen as "Your submission was saved successfully" and "The file was successfully uploaded". You will also receive a confirmation email.

Abstracts will only be accepted by submitting through the online process. The abstract content must be uploaded into the system in a Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format.
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.

Six awards are on offer for the 2015 meeting - the Mallinckrodt Award for Nuclear Medicine Technologist; RADPHARM Case Presentation Award; GMS Poster Award; Gammasonics Award; ANSTO Award and AANMS Registrar Research Award.

ANZSNM reserves all rights to accepted abstracts between the date of acceptance and the date of presentation at the 2015 ANZSNM Annual Meeting (embargo rights). Under this reservation of rights ANZSNM will manage various publications of abstracts including, but not limited to, journals, CDs, Internet publications, and PR and promotional materials for the 2015 ANZSNM Annual Scientific Meeting. Once an abstract has been presented, abstract copyrights revert to authors; however, ANZSNM holds the continuing right to use accepted abstracts (and included tables and images) in ANZSNM publications, abstract CDs, press releases and reprints.
The abstract, or one that is essentially the same (“duplicate”), has not been submitted more than once to the ANZSNM 2015. The submitting author understands that if duplicate abstracts are determined by the Scientific Committee, the abstract(s) will be removed from the program.
Abstracts presented at the 45th ANZSNM ASM will be publishd as a supplement to Internal Medicine Journal.
